The Santa Barbara County Vintners' Association is a non-profit organization founded in 1983 to support and promote Santa Barbara County as a premium wine producing and wine grape growing region. The Vintners’ Association produces festivals, seminars and tastings and provides information to consumers and the wine and travel media.

The annual Santa Barbara County Vintners' Festival in April attracts wine lovers from near and far for an opportunity to meet vintners and staff from the member wineries, and to taste their wines. The Celebration of Harvest festival is held in October during the excitement of the wine grape harvest. As well as the Festivals themselves, these weekends are filled with open houses, winemaker dinners, special tastings and other unique events. Details on the Festivals can be found in the Events section of this website.

In addition to silent auctions held at the Festivals, the Association hosts a Wine Auction in February. Proceeds from these auctions benefit community organizations, the Santa Barbara County Vintners' Foundation and Association marketing and educational programs.

Individual wineries make many contributions to the local community, through donations of product, personnel and monetary support. In addition, the Santa Barbara County Vintners' Association hosts special events, the proceeds of which go in part to local nonprofit organizations. The Vintners' Association's mission is to promote the wine industry of Santa Barbara County and, in doing so, it brings favorable media coverage to the area and helps support the tourism industry which is vital to the region.
