Ground. Grapes. Grit.
Casa Dumetz Wines started in 2004 with a patch of raw earth, a bucket of grapevines and plenty of sweat from family and friends who joined together to embark on something extraordinary. From these efforts emerged a love story and a commitment to producing authentic, small-batch, handcrafted wines emblematic of the vintage, earth and effort required to make singular wines.
Our primary focus is on crafting elegant, alluring Rhone varietals, such as Grenache, Syrah, Viognier and Roussanne. Special projects include our Grenache Gris Rose, Gewurztraminer, estate-grown Pinot Noir and Sonja's Suds Sparkling Syrah Rose.
While we began making wine in the garage, we now offer barrel tasting sessions for select wine club members at our winery in the Buellton Bodegas Co-Op. The majority of our wine is sold through our tasting room located in historic and eclectic Los Alamos, California.
