Celebration of Harvest Weekend
Friday October 9th

In addition to the Celebration of Harvest festival on Saturday, individual wineries spare no effort to welcome, entertain and even educate you - there are winemakers dinners, winery tours, library wine tastings and sales, barrel tastings, special appetizers and live music in the tasting rooms, and smaller wineries open to the public.

10am - 4pm ampelos cellars Open House
Come taste all of our current releases as well as some special wines - such as a 4 year vertical.
10am - 5pm Bridlewood Large Mission-style winery majestically sitting on 105 acres, surrounded by vineyards, trees, lakes, gardens, horses and picnic areas. Many award-winning wines. Come for the wine, stay for the experience.
10am - 5pm Cambria Winemaking begins on the vine. Visit our private, family-owned estate winery established in 1986 and experience the flavors of the Santa Maria Bench. Visa holders are offered light appetizers and 10% off on all purchases
10am - 8pm Costa de Oro An estate winery producing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from our Gold Coast Vineyard. We strive to produce unique expressions of the vineyard, balancing elegance and power.

10am - 5pm Gainey Vineyard For over 20 years the Gainey family has produced ultrapremium wines from the Santa Ynez Valley and Santa Rita Hills.
10am - 5pm Koehler Koehler Winery's friendly and inviting tasting room is open daily from 10 am to 5 pm. Weather permitting, guests may also partake of a sip of wine on the spectacularly beautiful grounds, surrounded by the Koehler family's own remarkable menagerie of unusual animals and exotic birds.
10am - 5pm Lafond Winemaker Bruce McGuire was one of the pioneers in the development of Pinot Noir and Syrah. Bruce controls the total process, from the selection of varieties and clones in the vineyard, to farming practices, cultivation, pruning and when to pick. Accordingly the wines reflect his style and philosophy of winemaking.
10am - 5pm Roblar Roblar Winery is located in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley. The rustic tasting room and winery are set on a beautiful 38 acre vineyard. Roblar Winery is an experience. The entire facility was designed to reflect the owners’ passion for quality living.

The county's oldest winery (est. in 1962) is just two blocks away from the beach in Santa Barbara. A wide variety of award wining wines from our Lafond Vineyard in Sta Rita Hills.

11am - 8pm Baehner-Fournier The Eastern Santa Ynez Valley is hot! Bordeaux varietals love it and we grow three of them on our estate...Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Merlot. We blend them into our delicious V3, the only Bordeaux blend of its type in the Valley. At the Wandering Dog Wine Bar, Solvang.
11am - 5pm Buttonwood Farm Sauvignon Blanc, Sustainable, Trevin, Betty, Garden, Cabernet Franc, Fun, Bret, Marsanne, Seyburn, Art, Syrah, Music, Karen, Zingy, Imbibers Club, Cabernet Sauvignon.
11am - 5pm Carina Cellars Syrah, Viognier, and Cabernet produced in small lots with an emphasis on vineyard designated wines. Library wine tasting and oil and vinegar tastings.
11am - 7pm Carr Although the focus is on Pinot Noir, the vast microclimates of Santa Barbara County allow the winery to produce several other great wines, including Pinot Gris, Syrah and Cabernet Franc.

11am - 4pm Demetria A family-owned winery focused on premium-quality Burgundy and Rhone-style wines using biodynamic farming methods and handcrafted winemaking techniques, resulting very-limited quantities of wine.

11am - 4pm Fiddlehead Cellars Head Fiddle, Kathy Joseph, specializes in Sauvignon Blanc from the eastern part of Santa Ynez Valley and Pinot Noir from her Fiddlestix vineyard in Sta. Rita Hills.
11am - 4pm Foxen Vineyard The Foxen Boys have been making wine together for 20 years at the historic Rancho Tinaquaic "rustic" tasting room.
11am - 4pm Huber Cellars Proprietors Norman and Traudl Huber are dedicated to growing grapes of flavor and quality and crafting wines of distinction. All Huber wines are handcrafted in small lots to ensure the highest quality expression of the estate vineyard and the Santa Rita Hills area.
11am - 5pm Jaffurs Harvest Tasting in the Winery
Harvest will be in full swing at Jaffurs. Come join the fun. Taste the new wines. Help us stem, sort, press, or stomp, depending on what grapes are where. This is peak winemaking time for us. Stand elbow-to-elbow with us as the magic unfolds.
11am - 4pm Ken Brown Wines With the benefit of nearly 30 years experience in this region, Ken’s goal in founding Ken Brown Wines is to focus on exceptional Pinot Noir from leading vineyards in Santa Rita Hills and several other select locations in the county. The line-up also includes limited bottlings of Chardonnay and Syrah. Library wine tasting. Visa holders will also be able to taste a pair of older library wines.
11am - 5pm La Vie La Vie Vineyards produces stylized, long aging Pinot Noirs and other wines such as Chardonnay, Riesling, Viognier and Syrah. Special pricing and library wines will be highlighted during the passport weekend.
11am - 6pm Lucas & Lewellen The vineyards of Lucas & Lewellen are located in the three principal wine grape growing regions of Santa Barbara County: the Santa Maria Valley, the Los Alamos Valley, and the Santa Ynez Valley. 5 - 7pm Gainey Vineyard Farmer’s Market
Featuring local purveyors of produce, meat, lavendar, homemade pies, wine cupcakes, wines, honey and much more! "Duende" featuring Bear Erickson will be providing music and the Santa Ynez Valley Vikings will be selling tri tip sandwiches for picnics.
 
5.30 - 7.30pm Carina Cellars Cooking with Carina
Cooking Class Chef John Fernandez of A Tavola! will present a cooking demonstration of traditional Italian dishes in the tasting room, and each dish will be paired with a taste of Carina Cellars wines! This will be a wonderful evening of great food and wine, and is limited to 30 people
 
6 - 8pm Byron Futures Tasting
Winemaker Jonathan Nagy has been diligently working on the 2008 Byron wines. We’ve decided to host a tasting in honor of these wines, because we believe they are that good. This is your chance to taste, for the first time, small-lot bottlings of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the extraordinary 2008 vintage. Our estate chef will be pairing appetizers to serve with each wine selection. At this event only, you will have the opportunity to pre-order these!
