Not only is there great wine at the Vintners’
Festival, but a full roster of sensory delights! This year,
there are over three dozen food booths- a cornucopia of wine
country gastronomy! Local restaurants, caterers and specialty
food purveyors offer exquisite samples of their cuisine. Make
sure you stop by and try what they’ve created, and if
you’re making a long weekend of it, why not drop in
for lunch or dinner?

The live and lively sounds of two local bands,
both favorites among vintners will be keeping your toes a-tapping
at the very least. We are pleased to welcome House Red and Unfinished
Business back to the Vintners’ Festival. House Red performs
‘vintage’ Rock, Soul and Blues classics and Unfinished
Business is all about 1960’s Rock and Roll
Proving that Lompoc is “The City of Arts
& Flowers” are local artists displaying their work.
And don’t miss our Silent Auction, chock
full of big bottles, verticals, horizontals and special wine country
treats. The proceeds from the Silent auction provide scholarships
at local high schools.
As our host city Lompoc is the “City of
Flowers and Art”, the Festival will of course feature some
local artists! Make sure to stop by the artists tents to visit:

Carol Oliveira,

The
House Red Band performs 'vintage' Rock, Soul and
Blues classics and original tunes blended and aged in vocal harmonies.
We can get a crowd dancing! Best of all; we have what no other band
has: lead vocalist Mary Welsh—this woman can flat out sing--
her voice has a smoky richness that reminds us all of Bonnie Raitt.
We also have the luxury of having Terry Lawless, sax/and keyboard,
on many of our gigs. Terry is currently working with U2 as their
Keyboards/Programmer and has been around the world (and elsewhere)
with them..
Unfinished
Business is a Central Coast band originally formed in 2003
and specializing in what is arguably the best music of all time:
1960s rock 'n' roll. All of the members of Unfinished Business played
in local bands in California and Iowa during that era and still
have a passion for performing the great hits. Now, more than 40
years later, the "unfinished business" of this band is
to return to that music and to recreate during each performance
the excitement and authenticity each member recalls about how that
great music was performed live back in the 1960s.
