Vintners' Festival Weekend
Saturday April 18

In addition to the Vintners' Festival itself, individual wineries spare no effort to welcome, entertain and even educate you - there are winemakers dinners, winery tours, library wine tastings and sales, barrel tastings, special appetizers and live music in the tasting rooms, and smaller wineries open to the public.

9am - 5pm Babcock Open House
Come taste the full spectrum of Babcock wines along with light hors d'oeuvres. In addition to current releases, they will also be pouring a full line up of Terroir Exclusives (single vineyard) wines and Futures. $20 per person. Wine Club Members free.
 
10am - 5pm Bridlewood Large Mission-style winery majestically sitting on 105 acres, surrounded by vineyards, trees, lakes, gardens, horses and picnic areas. Many award-winning wines. Come for the wine, stay for the experience.
10am - 5pm Cambria Take a trip to Cambria for Harvest Festival Open House! Light hors d’oeuvres will be served.

10am - 6pm Costa de Oro In addition to their line-up of estate-grown Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines, Costa de Oro are offering library wine tastings, live music and 15% off all wine purchases. Food is also available for purchase.

10am - 5pm Gainey Vineyard For over 20 years, the Gainey family has produced ultra-premium wines from the Santa Ynez and Sta. Rita Hills. Visitors are welcome at our beautiful Spanish-style winery.
10am - 5pm Koehler Koehler Winery's friendly and inviting tasting room is open daily from 10 am to 5 pm. Weather permitting, guests may also partake of a sip of wine on the spectacularly beautiful grounds, surrounded by the Koehler family's own remarkable menagerie of unusual animals and exotic birds.
10am - 5pm Lafond Open House
Featuring new releases, tasty appetizers, music and of course the Famous Lafond Taco Stand!
10am - 5pm Melville New Release Tasting
Here at Melville we will be celebrating the release of our 2008 Clone 76 Inox chardonnay and 2008 Verna's Estate viognier. Both wines will be poured in our tasting room and complimentary hors d'oeuvres will be served throughout the weekend. No reservations are necessary.
 
10am - 5pm Rancho Sisquoc To the Chumash Indians of the area, "Sisquoc" meant "gathering place". Rancho Sisquoc is again a gathering place, this time for wine lovers.

10am - 5pm Roblar Roblar Winery is located in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley. The rustic tasting room and winery are set on a beautiful 38 acre vineyard. Roblar Winery is an experience. The entire facility was designed to reflect the owners’ passion for quality living.

10am - 5pm Santa Barbara Winery Santa Barbara winery's grapes come from the Lafond Vineyards in the Santa Rita Hills of the Santa Ynez Valley and from neighboring vineyards. The winery produces Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Syrah varieties that have excelled in the micro climate of the western end of the valley which is strongly influenced by the cool breezes from the Pacific, the foggy mornings and the warm days.
10am - 4pm Sunstone Open House
Visit our wine caves and taste library wines throughout the weekend. Listen to live Music in our rosemary garden and soak up the sun at Sunstone Vineyards and Winery.
10am - 5pm Tres Hermanas Specializing in small-lot Syrah, Viognier, Roussanne, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Muscat Canelli, Refosco and Cuvées.
10am - 4pm Zaca Mesa An estate winery dedicated to growing and handcrafting Rhône varieties (Syrah, Viognier, Roussanne and Grenache) offering a unique experience to share.
10.30am - 5.30pm Curtis Winery Curtis Winery is exclusively committed to the crafting of Rhône-style wines. We are inspired by the extraordinary terrain of Santa Barbara County’s Santa Ynez Valley, which is today recognized as one of the world’s leading appellations for Rhône varietals.
10.30am - noon Foley Estates Chuckwagon Brunch
As you head through the Santa Rita Hills on your way to Vintners Festival, stop in and join us for our 3rd Annual Chuckwagon Brunch. Avoid all the crowds and city folk in town and make this your first stop on the Wine Trail. Fill up on your California ranch favorites such as Vaquero Eggs, home fried potatoes, grilled linquica and so much more. While enjoying the company of fellow wine-lovers you will also be treated to a complimentary tasting of our Foley estate wines and the return of our Wine Country Images Art Show & Sale.
 
10.30am - 5.30pm Kenneth Volk Vineyards Open House
Start your tasting in Santa Maria Valley at Kenneth Volk Vineyards and work your way down the Foxen Canyon Wine Trail. Ken Volk has one of the most extensive portfolios of wines in Santa Barbara County. Sample great Pinot and Chardonnay, Bordeaux varietals and Heirloom wines such as; Verdelho, Negrette and Mourvedre. Light hors d'oeuvres will be served.

10.30am - noon Palmina Primavera Brunch
Join Steve and Chrystal at the winery for an informative and delicious kickoff to Festival! Featuring the wines and foods of springtime (Primavera in Italian), Steve and Chrystal will talk about the season, the vines, the wines of Santa Barbara County and northern Italy. You’ll taste these springtime wines and then be treated to a seasonal brunch buffet, created and cooked by Steve and his crew of chefs. Limited to 40 participants, and just $30 per person.
 
11am - 4.30pm Alma Rosa Open House
Celebrating Earth Day with great wine, great food, great music and great people! Enjoy the captivating Cuban and Mexican music of the 3-piece musical ensemble DomingoSiete.
 
11am - 4pm ampelos cellars A family run operation located in the Santa Rita Hills. We follow traditional winemaking practices producing limited quantities of Pinot Noir, Syrah and Syrah/Grenache wines.
11am - 4pm Andrew Murray Vineyards Spring Release Open House
We will be pouring several new releases, providing light appetizers and live music. The fee is $10 per person. We hope you will come join us.
 
11am - 5pm Artiste Celebrate the fusion of art and wine. Winemaker Bion Rice composes neo-classical blends called "Impressionist Cuvées" that combine a sense of Old World style with a new World personality.
11am - 8pm Baehner-Fournier The Eastern Santa Ynez Valley is hot! Bordeaux varietals love it and we grow three of them on our estate...Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Merlot. We blend them into our delicious V3, the only Bordeaux blend of its type in the Valley. At the Wandering Dog Wine Bar, Solvang.
11am - 5pm Beckmen A family-owned and -operated winery producing ultra-premium, estate-grown Rhône varietals from our Purisima Mountain vineyard.
11am - 5pm Bedford Thompson Limited-edition wines of varietal integrity from single vineyard sources: Syrah, Mourvedre, Grenache, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and dry Gewurztraminer. Visa holders enjoy light appetizers and 20% discount on all wine purchases.

This is your chance to taste not only Consilience’s current releases but also some extremely limited and beautifully aged library wines.
 
11am - 5pm Coquelicot Coquelicot (ko-klee-ko) is the name “en français” of the striking red poppy that graces the French countryside. Sustainable farming and gentle, meticulous winemaking techniques converge to produce limited production wines that are a true celebration of life.
11am - 5pm D'Alfonso - Curran Featuring Spanish and Italian varietals, Bruno's signature Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and Kris' incomparable Syrah.
11am - 6pm Daniel Gehrs Since our start in 1990, our focus has remained the same - creating small lots of high quality wines, offered at reasonable prices. White wines include Chenin Blanc and Viognier; the red wine focus is on Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon.
11am - 4pm Demetria A family-owned winery focused on premium-quality Burgundy and Rhone-style wines using biodynamic farming methods and handcrafted winemaking techniques, resulting very-limited quantities of wine. Visa holders enjoy a special preview tasting of the soon-to-be released 2006 Cuvee Constantine and 2006 Syrah, and the newly released 2006 Cuvee Sandra Pinot Noir.
11am - 5pm Dierberg This ideal combination of climate, aspect, soil and clonal material results in truly distinctive Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines. The exceptional planning, planting and farming of the Dierberg Vineyard is a key factor to the growing reputation of the vineyard for world-class Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines.
11am - 4pm Dragonette Dragonette Cellars is a partnership between brothers John and Steve Dragonette and close friend Brandon Sparks-Gillis who joined forces in order to pursue a mutual, long held dream to make wine in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley.We are passionate and committed to producing small lots of ultra-premium Pinot Noir, Syrah and Sauvignon Blanc.
11am - 4pm Fiddlehead Cellars Head Fiddle, Kathy Joseph, specializes in Sauvignon Blanc from the eastern part of Santa Ynez Valley and Pinot Noir from her Fiddlestix vineyard in Sta. Rita Hills.
11am - 4pm Flying Goat Cellars Open Goat Shed
Not normally open to the public, Flying Goat Cellars will be pouring the latest releases of wines at their “goat shed” in the Lompoc Wine Ghetto. $10 per person tasting fee, Wine Club members free.
 
11am - 4pm Foxen The Foxen boys have been making wine together for 20 years at the historic Rancho Tinaquaic tasting room.
11am - 4pm Huber Cellars Open House Drive in through our estate Sta. Rita Hills Vineyard to our home tasting bar for a Festival Open House! We’re not normally open to the public, but will be pouring our full line up of estate Chardonnays, Pinot Noirs and Dornfelder. Festival weekend will be our official release of our new “Hafen” Dornfelder dessert wine! Visa holders are offered 15% discount on all estate wines except Charlotte's Reserve and Hafen.
11am - 4pm Ken Brown Wines With the benefit of nearly 30 years experience in this region, Ken’s goal in founding Ken Brown Wines is to focus on exceptional Pinot Noir from leading vineyards in Santa Rita Hills and several other select locations in the county. The line-up also includes limited bottlings of Chardonnay and Syrah. Visa holders will also be able to taste a pair of older library wines.
11am - 5pm La Vie Established in 2000, La Vie Vineyards produces stylized, long-aging Pinot Noir and other wines such as Chardonnay, Riesling, Viognier and Syrah.
11am - 4.30pm Longoria Wines Open House at the Winery in Lompoc
Our winery, which is normally closed to the public, will be open this day only. We will be pairing chocolates with a vertical of our 2004, 2005 & 2006 Clover Creek Vineyard Syrah. Special discounts available. $10 tasting fee, refunded with purchase of 3 bottles or more. Free for Wine Club Members.
 
11am - 4.30pm Longoria Wines Vertical Tasting at the Tasting Room in Los Olivos

11am - 6pm Lucas & Lewellen The vineyards of Lucas & Lewellen are located in the three principal wine grape growing regions of Santa Barbara County: the Santa Maria Valley, the Los Alamos Valley, and the Santa Ynez Valley. From the finest estate grown grapes come the finest wines. Visit us to taste our premium handcrafted Santa Barbara County wines.

11am - 6pm Mandolina Known for approachable style and excellent quality at reasonable prices, Mandolina produces estate-grown Italian varietals including Pinot Grigio, Barbera, Nebbiolo, Moscato, Sangiovese, and ever popular Super-Tuscan blends of Bordeaux and Italian varietals.

11am - 5pm Oreana Winery Devoted to the production of Pinot Noir, Syrah and micro-batches of sparkling wine at Santa Barbara's downtown winery.

11am - 4.30pm Rideau Tapas, Wine & Jazz!
We will be sampling our Bistro Tapas plates, pouring a special lineup of Reserve and New Release wines, and enjoying live Jazz by Art Garfinkle. Free for Visa Holders and Club Members or $15 for general public.
11am - 4pm Riverbench Planted in 1973, Riverbench is one of Santa Maria Valley's first vineyards. The estate and reserve Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines are made in limited quantities and are available exclusively at their Tasting Room.
11am - 5pm Sanford

Sanford planted the area's first Pinot Noir in its Sanford & Benedict vineyard. Pinot Noir has thrived in the Santa Rita Hills ever since, and so has Sanford Winery. The pioneering winery's Pinot Noir ranks among the best and most distinctive in the world.
