In addition to the Vintners' Festival itself, the individual wineries spare no effort to welcome, entertain and even educate you - there are winemakers dinners, winery tours, library wine tastings and sales, barrel tastings, special appetizers and live music in the tasting rooms, smaller wineries open to the public.

9am - 5pm Babcock

Open House
Come taste the full spectrum of Babcock wines. In addition to current releases, we will also be pouring the full line up of Terroir Exclusives, single vineyard wines and futures. Light hors d’oeuvres. $15 per person, Free for wine club members.

Want to kick up your wine tasting experience? Join us Saturday and experience the V.I.P. cellar with catered cuisine. What could be better than experiencing the entire line-up of Babcock wines? Having great food matched with great wine of course! Enjoy the fine cuisine of Lori Cordova catering with heavy hors d' oeuvres designed to go with a wide variety of wines. Wine Club members $30/couple or $20 per person. General public tickets are $50 per couple or $30 per person. Hurry, reservations are limited.

 
9.30 - 11am Palmina

Friulian Symposium & Brunch
You are invited to join winemaker/owner Steve Clifton in an exploration of Tocai Friulano - a white wine grape from the Friuli region in northern Italy. Steve will pour and discuss a number of winemaking experiments, comparing and contrasting the newly released Palmina 2007 Tocai Friulano with lots fermented in a variety of different ways.

You’ll finish with the newly released 2007 Tocai Friulano made in the traditional Palmina style, complete with a Piemonte style brunch!

9.30am - 5.3pm Huber Cellars

The Huber Estate was established in 1986, and the first vines were planted in 1987, making it one of the oldest vineyards in Santa Rita Hills. The premier grapes of the appellation, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, are grown on the estate, as is a German red grape varietal called Dornfelder.
Visa holders are invited to sample Huber wines at the House of Honeywood in Solvang.

10am - 5pm Bridlewood A lushly landscaped, landmark Mission-style wine estate that welcomes its members and guests to an unparalleled Santa Barbara wine country experience.
An additional discount on all case purchases for all Visa holders.
10am - 6pm Casa Cassara With amazing grapes come incredible wines. Small production, handcrafted excellence flows from our winery that sits in the heart of Sta. Rita Hills appellation in northern Santa Barbara County.
15% off all wine purchases.
10am - 6pm Costa de Oro In addition to their line-up of estate-grown Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines, Costa de Oro are offering library wine tastings, live music and 15% off all wine purchases. Food is also available for purchase.
10am - 6pm Cottonwood Canyon Open House
Sample wines with special food pairings. Or come out to enjoy the view and listen to live music from 12-4 on the patio.
10am - 5pm Cambria Open house with select foods and fine wines. Complimentary and open to the public.
10am - 5pm Fess Parker Fess Parker Winery & Vineyard is a family owned and operated winery producing ultra-premium, award-winning wines including Syrah, Viognier, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and white Riesling. Visa holders are offered a 10% discount on wine purchases.
10am - 5pm Firestone Vineyard Firestone Vineyard wines hail from eight estate vineyards near California’s celebrated Santa Barbara coast, where an unparalleled marine climate and expressive soils yield wines of extraordinary complexity and elegance. 10am - noon Foley Estates Vintners Chuckwagon Brunch
Stop in on your way to the Festival for a Chuckwagon Brunch. $35 for general public, $30 for wine club members.
 
10am - 5pm Gainey Vineyard The Gainey Vineyard was the first winery to own vineyards in both the warm, eastern end of Santa Ynez Valley, where the family concentrates on Bordeaux varieties, and the cool western Sta. Rita Hills, where they have planted Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Syrah.
10am - 5pm Kenneth Volk Vineyards Open House
A little off the beaten path, but well worth the trek – Kenneth Volk Vineyards has one of the most extensive portfolios of wine on the Central Coast. Sample some of Ken’s new heirloom wines, along with exceptional Pinots and Chardonnays. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served.
10am - 5pm Lafond New releases, bread & cheeses, desserts and our famous “Taco Stand”.
10am - 5pm Lincourt Once a dairy farm, Lincourt offers charming atmosphere and award winning wines including estate and vineyard designated Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Syrah and Pinot Noir. Visa holders are offered a 15% discount on wine purchases.
10am - 5pm Rancho Sisquoc Special library selections, light foods. Art show featuring Betsy Jones.
10am - 5pm Roblar Roblar Winery is located in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley. The rustic tasting room and winery are set on a beautiful 38 acre vineyard. Roblar Winery is an experience. The entire facility was designed to reflect the owners’ passion for quality living.

10am - 5pm Santa Barbara Winery The winery produces Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Syrah varieties that have excelled in the micro climate of the western end of Santa Ynez Valley which is strongly influenced by the cool breezes from the Pacific, the foggy mornings and the warm days.
10am - 5pm Tres Hermanas

Tres Hermanas with winemaker Luke Lindquist at the helm, is focused on the creation of fine French and Italian style wines using fruit from some of the leading vineyards on the Central Coast as well as from our own estate grown Syrah.

10am - 4pm Zaca Mesa An estate winery dedicated to Rhône varieties.
10.30am - 5.30pm Curtis Winery Curtis Winery is exclusively committed to the crafting of Rhône-style wines. We are inspired by the extraordinary terrain of Santa Barbara County’s Santa Ynez Valley, which is today recognized as one of the world’s leading appellations for Rhône varietals.
11am - 4pm Andrew Murray Vineyards Annual Spring Release Open House
Not usually open to the public, come on out to the winery at 5095 Zaca Station Road in Los Olivos. We will be providing light hors d’oeuvres and at least ten different wines to sample. $10 per person.
 
11am - 5pm Alma Rosa Celebrating Earth Day with great wine, great food, great music and great people. Enjoy the captivating music of Francisco Gonzalez a founder of the well known "Los Lobos" who has been part of our open house entertainment for over 20 years along with his colleague Roberto who plays several styles of Mexican style guitars. Francisco joins us in celebrating Alma Rosa Winery's 1st annual open house back on our Rancho el Jabalí! With Francisco here we feel the "family" is together again....sooooo come "Listen to the Music". $15 per person and $10 for designated drivers. No charge for Wine Club members.

The current line-up of wines includes both vineyard-designated and Santa Barbara County bottlings of Viognier, Syrah, Petite Sirah, Mourvedre and Grenache.

11am - 6pm Daniel Gehrs Since our start in 1990, our focus has remained the same - creating small lots of high quality wines, offered at reasonable prices. White wines include Chenin Blanc and Viognier; the red wine focus is on Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon. Visa holders are offered a 10% discount.
11am - 4pm Demetria Not normally open to the public, the winery on Foxen Canyon Road is open this weekend and invites you to taste their Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Rhone wines. Visa holders are offered a 10% discount on select wine purchases.
11am - 4pm Fiddlehead Cellars Kathy Joseph established Fiddlehead Cellars to capture the pure essence of the two grape varietals that she loves best – Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir. As “Head Fiddle”, Kathy continues to passionately pursue her goal of creating stylistic Sauvignon Blancs and silky, intense Pinot Noirs.
11am - 4pm Foxen The Foxen boys have been making wine together for 20 years at the historic Rancho Tinaquaic tasting room.
11am - 4.30pm Longoria Production Facility Open House
Our winery in the Lompoc "wine ghetto", which is normally closed to the public, will be open this weekend only. Light hors d'oeuvres and our newest releases will be available for tasting.
 
11am - 4pm Michael Grace Specializing in the unique wines of southern Rhone, most notably Grenache and Syrah. Their fine wines are handcrafted with limited production ensuring their primary objective: quality. Visa holders are offered a 25% discount on wine purchases.
11am - 5pm Oreana Winery Devoted to the production of Pinot Noir, Syrah and micro-batches of sparkling wine at Santa Barbara's downtown winery.
11am - 4pm Palmina Palmina is a Californian celebration of the rich, wonderful lifestyle and attitude toward food, wine, friends and family that exists in Italy.
11am - 6pm Presidio Producing Pinot Noir, Syrah and Chardonnay from their cool climate estate vineyard west of Santa Rita Hills.
11am - 4.30pm Rideau Creole Open House
Join us in celebration of Vintners Festival weekend. You will be treated to a festive day of wine tasting and live music. New releases and award-winning reserve wines will be available for tasting and purchase. A hand-selected Rhone wine will be paired with one of Iris' famous Creole specialties. Bring a picnic, a blanket, a few of your close friends and family and relax with us under a lovely blue Santa Ynez sky!
 
11am - 5pm Sanford Open House
Come try our current wines, barrel tastings and appetizers while enjoying the sounds of the Agin Brothers Band. Admission is only $15 per person with a souvenir glass to take home. $5 for Wine Club members.
 
11am - 5pm Scott Cellars The winery produces small lots of handcrafted Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Syrah and a Zinfandel/Syrah blend. This weekend there will be special food pairings.
11am - 5pm Silver Crafting superior Rhône, Italian, Burgundian and Bordelaise varietals from local vineyards carefully chosen for the production of terroir driven wines.
Tasting is at Wine Country in Los Olivos.
from 11am Stolpman Established in 1977, Stolpman Vineyards produces estate grown fruit from our vineyard off Ballard Canyon. Syrah, Sangiovese and Roussanne are our primary varietals. Visa holders receive 10% discount on wine purchases and 20% on a case or more.
noon - 4pm The Brander Vineyard Open House
Come taste Fred Brander's award-winning Sauvignon Blanc wines and latest releases, complemented by appetizers in the courtyard.
 
noon - 4pm Jaffurs Small and highly acclaimed, the family-owned winery produces limited quantities of handcrafted Rhone varietal wines: Syrah, Grenache, Roussanne and Viognier.
6pm Foxen Winemaker Dinner
Join “the Foxen Boys” for an evening of fun and entertainment by Rob Rio. At the Alisal Guest Ranch in Santa Ynez. $125 per person.

7pm Buttonwood Farm "Taste the Futures" Winemaker Dinner
Winemaker Karen Steinwachs debuts the fruits of her first harvest at Buttonwood Farm accompanied by an elegant feast prepared by jeff & Janet Olsson of New West Catering. Sample new releases of Sauvignon Blanc and Syrah Rosé as well as barrel samples of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon in the barrel room. A small number of futures will be available for sale only at this dinner.
 
7pm Core Winemaker Dinner
Chef Willie Martinez of Ono Hawaiian BBQ will pair his island-inspired fare with Dave and Becky Corey's wines in this intimate winemaker dinner limited to 28 people. At Wine Country in Los Olivos.
 
7pm Longoria Winemaker Dinner
Enjoy the creative cuisine from Chef Budi Kazali and the award-winning wines from winemaker Richard Longoria at the Ballard Inn. Very limited seating. Phone 805 688-7770 for reservations.
