A passion for food and a love of the Central Coast, led Clarissa Nagy to the wine industry in 1995. She had her winemaking epiphany while filling a brand new French oak barrel with Pinot Noir Free run. Clarissa knew her sensory background would serve her well in the wine industry. Her love of small lot wine production flourished while working in Santa Maria Valley. In 2005, her first commercial vintage included Garey Pinot Noir and White Hawk Syrah. Hand selecting each vineyard source, her production now includes Bien Nacido Pinot Blanc, White Hawk Viognier, Alisos Grenache and Gewurztraminer. Nagy produces handcrafted wines that exhibit the flavor profile of the region and each specific vineyard site. These small production lots are available almost exclusively in the tasting room in Orcutt. Visit and experience firsthand the various sensory training and food pairings regularly featured.
