Pali Wine Company
Co-founders Tim Perr and Scott Knight launched Pali Wine Company in 2005 with the goal of crafting vineyard designate and AVA-specific Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from prestigious sites in California and Oregon at the best possible price, without compromising winemaking. They chose Pinot Noir as the driving force for their company because “it is so expressive of its origin” and wanted to showcase all the major Pinot Noir growing regions under one brand.
Pali Wine Co. is named after the owner’s home town of Pacific Palisades, which serves as the muse for the company’s branding. The names of the AVA-specific wines are all neighborhoods and streets in Pacific Palisades. In 2010, Pali added a second brand under its umbrella, called Tower 15 Winery, which is dedicated to Rhone and Bordeaux varietals grown exclusively in Paso Robles. The label bears an image of Lifeguard Tower 15, located on the beach in Pacific Palisades.
Pali/Tower 15 is currently distributed in over 30 states and recently has opened two tasting rooms in Santa Barbara County.
