This mom and pop team not only offers nightly dining on the weekends at Sagebrush Annie’s, but also operates a vineyard. Larry & Karina Hogan run a small Central Coast winery and invite you to come out for a visit and taste our Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Zinfandel.
Larry Hogan planted the first commercial vineyard in the Cuyama Valley, Ventucopa area in 1982 and produced the first wine in 1985. At present there are in excess of 750 acres of wine grapes in the area. In the past four years Stone Pine Estate and Sagebrush Annie’s labels have won 66 gold medals which includes double golds, best of class and best of show awards. This includes the best Cabernet Sauvignon at the San Francisco International Wine Competition. The Stone Pine Estate grapes were planted and tended by the Hogan’s, who produce about 500 cases a year.
