There are a lot of wineries and a lot of ground
to cover in Santa Barbara Wine Country. Your wine adventure stretches
from the southernmost tasting rooms in Summerland and Santa Barbara
all the way north to those in Santa Maria – a good 50-60 mile
spread. So, explore the breadth and depth of Santa Barbara by mapping
a route, or choosing an area to meander one day and another the
next.
We’ve put together some groupings of wineries
and tasting rooms that are near to one another to help you with
your planning. Plan on visiting four to five in one day, and make
sure to take a break for lunch. Hey, winetasting can be hard work!

note that some of the wineries invite you to visit, but require
an appointment. These are usually smaller wineries where the person
pouring your wine may be the actual winemaker!
