Located thirteen miles from the Pacific Ocean,
Casa Torres Vineyard sits six hundred feet above sea level. Throughout
the night, a blanket of thick fog protects this delicate grape as
the Pinot Noir patiently awaits the warm afternoon sun. Hot days
are held at bay as the ocean breeze whispers across the Santa Maria
Valley hills, cooling the fruit.
This climate results in a light bodied wine with
additional complexity that is a pleasure to drink. The original
vines were planted May 2000 on five acres. Crushed at full ripeness
to maximize the berry flavors characteristic of the Santa Maria
Valley.
