The Daniel Gehrs Wines label was founded in 1990 with production of only 1,000 cases. Although our production increased to 7,500 cases in 2001, the focus remains the same: creating small lots of high quality wines, offered at reasonable prices. White wines include Chenin Blanc and Viognier; the red wine focus is on Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon. Our Tasting Room and Gift Shop is in Heather Cottage, a landmark along "Tasting Room Row" in Los Olivos. Built in 1904, Heather Cottage features a true gift shop with French Country and English cottage-themed items for the home. You will also find numerous wine-related gifts in the tasting room alongside the latest releases. Originally built as a doctor's office and later a residence through much of the 1900's, for the last decade, Heather Cottage has made a name for itself as a gift boutique. Now, in addition to the many unique and wonderful gift items, the Heather Cottage is home to Daniel Gehrs Wines.
