Young, Talented, Fiery, Determined….these are the words that can aptly describe Ariel and Angela Lavie of La Vie Vineyards. In 1998 at the ripe ages of 22 and 24, Ariel and Angela purchased a 40 acre property amidst the heights of the Santa Rita Hills with a vision to grow and vinify organic Pinot Noir grapes. Two years later, the brand La Vie Vineyards was established with small production of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay purchased from choice vineyards in the Santa Rita Hills. Currently, with an annual production of 800 cases, La Vie Vineyards is still the smallest and youngest winery in the county, with many stellar vintages ahead of us and in bottle. With a tasting room in the wine ghetto, a small vineyard bearing delicious grapes, and a passion for Pinot, we are the winemakers of the future! La Vie Vineyards produces stylized, long aging Pinot Noirs and other wines such as Chardonnay, Riesling, Viognier and Syrah. The emphasis is on quality and purity. We offer wines that stand out amongst world class producers, with their distinct structure and textures. Come taste the difference!
