Rio Vista Vineyard was first planted with 26 acres of Pinot Noir in 2001 and with an additional 38 acres in 2006. The vineyard supplies Pinot Noir fruit to Brewer - Clifton, Flying Goat Cellars, Hitching Post, Ken Brown Wines, Tantara and Thorne Wine. Fess Parker, Consilience and Rusack will join us in the new vineyard. The ranch property which includes the vineyard has been in the family since the mid fifties and operates as a cattle ranch. Thorne wines are blands of Pinot Noir clones 777, 115 and 2A.
