When you enter the Old Adobe Tasting Room, you will feel as though you have stepped back in time to a place that has captured the feel of New Orleans and our owner's Creole heritage. Because she loves to cook, Iris Rideau devised an entirely new concept of pairing food with wine with a pinch of Southern hospitality. “I cook and pair a hand selected wine for that day in the kitchen, so that people can have an opportunity to experience the incredible world of wine and food,” Rideau says.
Throughout the year the entire house is open to the public for wine tasting. The winery makes eleven different varietals, specializing in Rhône wines such as Syrah & Viognier. The staff at Rideau Vineyard invite you to visit us and enjoy our award-winning wines and experience our warm Southern Hospitality.
