Get Here

DRIVE

Take 101 (north from the Los Angeles area, south from the San Francisco area). All tasting routes can easily be accessed from the 101. Alternatively, from Santa Barbara you can take Highway 154 “over the hill” to get to the Santa Ynez Valley.

TAKE THE TRAIN

Amtrak’s Pacific Surfliner trains come up the coast several times a day – all the way from San Diego, Orange County and Los Angeles County to the city of Santa Barbara. Some trains continue up the coast; others end in Santa Barbara, where Amtrak buses can take you further north.

RIDE THE BUS

The Clean Air Express offers Saturday service between Santa Barbara and the Santa Ynez Valley with pick-up/drop-off locations in Santa Barbara including the Train Station (see above) at 209 State Street for under $10 per person, each way.  View the bus schedule here.

FLY HERE

Los Angeles Airport (LAX) is a couple of hours south of Santa Barbara, and you can drive a rental car, take the train, or use the Santa Barbara Airbus services. Both Santa Barbara (SBA) and Santa Maria (SMX) airports offer flights from several parts of the country.
